The Lakshadweep Public works Department provides
management services from project concept to completion , maintenance and repair
services in the post construction stage to all the civil Engineering
construction works under the Lakshadweep Administration and client organizations
functioning in these islands.
* The entire range of
Architectural and structural designing, Civil Engineering, Landscape, Contract
management, Techno-leagal services Accounts and Audit inputs are provided by LPWD.
* LPWD handles and
executes projects ranging from Building construction to Anti sea erosion works.

There is a small Architectural and Town and
Country planning attached with the circle office and major divisions is having
planning and design sections up to the rank of Assistant Surveyor of Works
level.
